Piercing Aftercare
- Wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning or touching your piercing.
- Spray sterile saline onto the piercing.
- Pat dry the area with a clean disposable cotton tip or gauze.
- Repeat this process twice a day (morning and night).
- ORAL PIERCINGS: Use sterile saline and non-alcoholic mouthwash.
- Gently remove any buildup by running warm water over the area in the shower.
AVOID:
- Do not touch, twist, pick, or rotate your piercing.
- Avoid submerging your piercing in pools, oceans, baths, lakes, etc., for at least 4 weeks.
- Do not use antiseptic, tea tree oil, alcohol, or chemical-based products. Only use sterile saline.
- Avoid pressure or movement on the piercing, such as sleeping on it, wearing tight or fluffy clothing, or engaging in high-movement activities.
- Avoid oral contact, rough handling, and contact with bodily fluids.
- Avoid makeup, lotions, and soaps around the piercing area while it heals.
CHECK-UP / DOWNSIZING JEWELLERY:
- Come back anytime for a checkup and sterile downsizing as recommended by TJ Stabz. Downsizing when necessary is crucial to avoid pressure bumps, migration of jewellery, and discomfort.
- Remember to regularly check and tighten the balls your jewellery
- It is your responsibility to take proper care of your piercing. TJ Stabz will verbally explain everything you need to know, as well as provide an aftercare instruction form.
- TJ Stabz will always be available for support through visits, calls, or messages during your piercing journey.
