Hey! I’m Skye – the creative half of Innovative Ink, which I run alongside my husband, Murray. I grew up in the tiny country town of Manilla in rural NSW, spent a few years on the Gold Coast, and eventually made the move to the Sunshine Coast!

I’ve been tattooing since 2019, and I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else. My dad was a tattoo artist, and growing up watching him work was a huge inspiration for me. Art and creating have always been part of who I am, so tattooing felt like the natural next step.

I specialise in fine line, dot work, and illustrative designs, often drawing inspiration from fantasy, nature, florals, and ornamentals. I’d love to take on more big floral pieces, traditional colours, and anime tattoos!

When I’m not tattooing, you’ll usually find me curled up with a fantasy or romance novel, binging a series or anime, or gaming. I do love the outdoors too — especially being by the ocean, camping, wandering through local markets, or hunting down cute cafés and new food spots.
